Your AI's work on the Home page

When you sign in to Business App, the Home page shows you the work your AI has already completed for your business, recommends what to do next, and lets you add products without leaving the page.

The "We already got to work" card​

At the top of Home, the We already got to work card lists the work completed for your business — for example, reading your website, scanning the web for reviews, checking business directories, drafting your first social posts, prefilling your business profile, or building you a website.

Every line reflects real work on your real business data. The list depends on the products active on your account, so it looks different for every business:

  • Each line links to the result so you can act on it right away — for example review and approve drafted social posts, view your results on a directory scan, or change it next to your AI receptionist's name.
  • Work in progress shows a scanning state — for example "Scanning your online reviews - results in about 24 hours" — and switches to results once they're in.
  • The card shows recent work. Lines age out roughly 30 days after the work was done.

Next steps​

Below the work summary, the Next steps section guides you through setup actions that are still worth doing. Each card shows what the step does for your business, how long it takes, and a button to start:

  • Meet your AI receptionist — chat with the AI that answers your calls and messages (2 min)
  • Show up when customers search — connect your Google Business Profile (2 min)
  • Add web chat to your website — give visitors instant answers on your site (3 min)
  • Connect the tools you already use — bring contacts, appointments, and invoices into one place (3 min)
  • Register your texting number — text customers from a dedicated business number (5 min)
  • Get leads on your phone — get the mobile app and be notified of new messages (1 min)

Completing a task removes its card automatically, and you can dismiss any card you don't need.

The Recommended for [your business name] section shows products you can add:

  • Get started opens the checkout or upgrade flow for that product.
  • Contact us connects you with your account contact when a product is handled personally.
  • Open [product] appears on products already active, taking you straight into them.

Dismissing cards​

You stay in control of your dashboard:

  • Click the ✕ (Dismiss) beside a section or card header to remove it.
  • The work summary dismisses as a whole; the recommended product cards dismiss one at a time.
  • Dismissals are saved in your browser. To bring dismissed cards back, clear your browser's site data for Business App, or open Business App in a different browser or device.
