Reminders

Reminders let you set a follow-up alert on any sent or incoming email so nothing slips through the cracks. You can view upcoming Reminders in the Scheduled tab of the Activity Feed at the top of Gmail.

Setting a Reminder

When composing or sending an email, set a Reminder directly from the compose window. You can also set one retroactively on a sent email or on an incoming message you're not ready to respond to:

  1. Open the email thread
  2. Click the Remind button at the top of the thread
  3. Set your date, time, and parameters
  4. Click Confirm

How do I edit an existing Reminder?
  1. Open the email with the Reminder
  2. Click the bell icon (Reminder dropdown)
  3. Click Clear Reminder
  4. Set a new date and time in the popup and save
Can I change my default Reminder time?

Yes. On the Reminder setup page, hover over your preferred time and click the star icon to save it as your default.

Where do I view my upcoming Reminders?

In the Scheduled tab of the Activity Feed at the top of Gmail.
