Calendar

CalendarHero requires a connected calendar to function. Your calendar is how your assistant checks your real-time availability, books meetings, and keeps everything in sync. When you first sign up via Google or Microsoft, your primary calendar is connected automatically.

CalendarHero supports the following calendar providers:

  • Google Calendar
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • iCloud

Calendar sections

  • Managing Calendars — add multiple calendars, set your default, customize booking calendars per meeting type, control free/busy status, and troubleshoot access issues
  • Time Zones — configure your time zone and understand how CalendarHero handles invitees in different time zones

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to connect a calendar?

Yes. A connected calendar is required to use CalendarHero. Your assistant needs calendar access to check your availability and book meetings on your behalf. You can connect your calendar from the Integrations Directory.

Can I connect more than one calendar?

Yes. You can connect multiple calendars — for example, a work and personal calendar — so CalendarHero checks all of them when determining your availability. You can also set different booking calendars per meeting type. See Managing Calendars for details.

Are there any features that don't work with iCloud or Exchange On-Premises?

Yes. Due to third-party calendar limitations, iCloud and Microsoft Exchange On-Premises do not support Group Classes or certain shared availability settings (External On-Behalf, On-Behalf with ownership disabled, and Collective with omit my availability). To use these features, switch your booking calendar to Google, Microsoft 365, or Exchange Online/Hybrid.
