Can Templates use HTML and images?

Templates support HTML formatting and image insertion in both Gmail and Outlook.

Gmail​

Using the compose window:

  1. Open a compose window and design your message with formatting and images.
  2. Click the Templates button at the bottom.
  3. Select Save as Template.

Direct HTML input:

  1. Click Templates → New Template.
  2. Click the < > HTML mode button in the formatting toolbar.
  3. Paste or write your HTML.

Insert an image:

  1. While editing a template, click the insert/edit image icon.
  2. Browse your computer, drag and drop, or enter an image URL.
  3. Click Okay and save the template.

Outlook​

  1. Click Open Templates in the Outlook ribbon.
  2. Click New Template in the upper right.
  3. To write HTML, click the < > button in the formatting toolbar and enter your code.

Insert an image:

  1. Click the insert/edit image icon.
  2. Browse your device, drag and drop, or add an image URL.
  3. Click Okay and save the template.
