How do I add a custom domain to my Vibe project?
Every Vibe project gets a default published URL, and on the Standard and Pro plans you can also publish it to a domain you own. You add a custom domain in the Publish section of your project, and Vibe provisions the SSL certificate automatically.
Country and regional domains like .co.uk, .com.au, and .org.uk are supported. TLS is provisioned automatically for both your default URL and any custom domain, so you don't need to purchase or manage certificates.
What is my default domain?
Every project includes a default URL that's ready as soon as you publish. You can view and edit this URL in the Publish section of your project. No DNS setup is required. It's provisioned and secured automatically.
Visiting the bare domain (without www) redirects to the full URL automatically.
What do I need to use a custom domain?
Custom domains require the Standard or Pro plan. On the Free plan, upgrade first through the self-checkout flow in Business App. See Credits for information on plan upgrades.

Your app becomes available at your custom domain after the certificate is provisioned. If you add a www subdomain, Vibe automatically redirects it to your main domain. Country and regional domains (.co.uk, .com.au, .org.uk, and similar) are fully supported — DNS verification, SSL provisioning, and www redirects work the same way as .com domains.
How do I remove a custom domain?
To remove a custom domain, go to Publish and remove it with one click. Your project continues to be available at its default URL.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
My custom domain shows "Verifying" for a long time. What should I do?
DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours depending on your registrar. Make sure the CNAME or A records match exactly what Vibe displayed. If you entered the wrong records, remove the domain and re-add it to get fresh verification instructions.
My custom domain has DNS set up but HTTPS certificate provisioning is stuck. What should I do?
Remove the custom domain in Vibe, remove the custom DNS records you added for Vibe, then add the custom domain again. This often clears a certificate challenge left over from an older project that used the same domain.
Can I use a custom domain on the Free plan?
No. Custom domains require the Standard or Pro plan. On the Free plan, upgrade first through the self-checkout flow in Business App.
Do I need to buy an SSL certificate for my custom domain?
No. Vibe provisions the certificate automatically after your DNS records propagate and verification completes, so you don't need to purchase or manage certificates.

Why does my Vibe site still show the default platform domain after I set up my custom domain?
Publish the project. Publishing switches the live site to the new domain. The previous domain redirects to the new site. The domain list can look confusing because the publishing system controls which domain is live.
Why does my old Vibe site address stop working after I rename it?
Renaming a site releases its old address, and the old address does not redirect to the new one. Update any links or printed QR codes to use the new address.
Why is my Vibe custom domain stuck in Provisioning or failing?
Usually a DNS conflict is blocking the SSL certificate. In your DNS provider, check the _acme-challenge record: it must be a single CNAME with no other records (such as TXT records) using the same name. Add the domain to only one project, select Verify once, and then leave it alone, since removing and re-adding the domain restarts the certificate. Once DNS is correct, the certificate is usually issued within an hour. To change a custom domain, remove it and add the new one.
